With a little back-of-the-envelope extrapolation, his dad figured that he'll surpass the 100 pound mark just after his second birthday, at this rate, anyway. Let's hope he slows down sometime soon...
As many of you may know, breast milk is supposed to progress from "1%" to "cream" through the course of a feeding. Alison is wondering if hers starts at "half & half" and goes to "clotted cream." Scones, anyone?

Noah also gained about 2 ounces/day after he came home from the hospital. It's very reassuring, isn't it? When I was in the hospital they actually did an assay of my milk and it had substantially more cream than average, which I gather is common for preemies -- the mom's body somehow knows that the baby needs a little extra. Maybe Ali's body knew that Jori needed a little booster after that rocky start?
